My Second Favorite F Word

Now that we are through the five W’s and the how, we can hurry through the remainder of someone’s mad minute.

Forgiveness: We start here. I say it’s my second favorite because my first is well…usually right after the mistake, the fuck that gets roared without thinking. After that moment, there is typically embarrassment; then comes forgiveness.

Forgiveness and guilt; I have had a lot of time to think about Jesus and what my opinions are; and even with my own characters, those who would emulate out of flattery or choice. They all feel resentment and, in some way, guilt in the end. This leads me to realize that the absoluteness of forgiveness is the divine part. Something I cannot attain, but I can look toward as ever room to grow.

Forgiveness and guilt and choice; When you choose your other half, or in my case, when you collide like two stars. And there is an error in the relationship. In their part, on mine, on whoever’s. Whatever it is. I DON’T CARE.

I SWEAR to you on. As a Man. Who has dealt with some shit in my marriage. You can choose to forgive; and choose to move, and choose to work and choose and choose and choose, every single day, and then one day you’re a hundred, and you die together. That’s the goal.

CHOOOOOOSE each other. Forgiveness is an active choice. It isn’t just “ok, we are good.” You GOTTA TALK about shit. Be honest, be open, and with love, and guess what? You’ll work your way through the lowland back into the light, because you choose to do so together.

I’m done.

I promise you. You can do this.

I love you,

Love each other.

It gets better.

The more I choose her, the more she flourishes, the taller she walks. And I am in awe.
